Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Advanced Capabilities sector is leading development of next generation high performance computing systems for Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions (CIMS). These systems are designed using our patented superconducting digital logic technology - Reciprocal Quantum Logic (RQL). On a gate for gate basis, RQL consumes orders of magnitude less power than CMOS while running at significantly higher clock speeds. Having demonstrated its performance with basic circuits, Northrop Grumman is advancing the technology in development of processors, memory subsystems, and large scale high performance computing systems. The Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions (CIMS) Advanced Capabilities sector is seeking a RF IC Design Engineer who will be responsible for the design and layout of superconducting integrated circuits to support the development of Northrop Grumman's patented RQL circuit family. The candidate will build upon their previous RF or microwave circuit design experience and apply these skills to superconducting circuit design. Tasks will include schematic capture, circuit simulation, circuit layout, electromagnetic (EM) simulation, physical verification (DRC and LVS), and device test and characterization. The right candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic environment with rapidly developing technologies and tools. Verilog-A or Verilog-AMS and electronics test lab experience are a plus.
