As a Sr. PMT-ES (PMT-External Services) you will be leading multi-facet programs, working in a fast-paced environment, contributing cross-functional technical and product expertise, assessing and managing risks, anticipating and resolving bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs with technical constraints. This position involves regular communication with senior leadership on proposals, project status and risks. Candidates must have great communication and technical skills and comfortable working with Alexa Domain customers at any level, from executive to developer.
Location in Seattle or Boston.

The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading large projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background in current cloud technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. As a PM you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.
8+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
Experience with machine learning technologies and statistics
A proven track record of building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences informed by customer data from various sources (market research, internal data bases, A/B testing, user research)
Strong analytic and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions (SQL strongly preferred)
Experience working globally, for a global customer base
MBA or advanced degree in a related field
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment.
