My client is a 1000+ person security business with large deals across Service Provider and Enterprise customers in the UK & Ireland.

The role the client is looking to hire is for someone to engage with their Systems Integrators and reseller partners in the UK and Ireland.

To define and represent the enhanced my clients proposition to existing partners, to recruit new resellers into the security community, and to aggressively grow my client's market share and revenues from all resellers and System Integrators.

The requirements are as follows:

Must have appropriate partner sales experience − ideally would have networking and/or security experience selling into specific verticals with tier 1 System Integrators and value-added resellers.
Minimum 8 years sales experience in a Channel Sales role. Additional direct sales experience a plus.
Knowledge of the UK market (customers, companies, competitors, key players) and of the UK channels ecosystem.
Be able to competently and confidently discuss and articulate technology value propositions for industry verticals and application segments
Proven successful sales track record in a difficult market climate selling high-value/high-complexity solutions with partners.
Exposure to high level networks and experience working with tier 1 system integrators operating in the security market.
Effective and influential technology evangelist with excellent verbal, written, electronic communication, and presentation skills.
Extremely professional, entrepreneurial, sharp, assertive, and ethical.
Proactive, innovative, and solutions-oriented.
Very good interpersonal skills. Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively under pressure in a global team environment.
Must be able to combine value-added relationships to partners with focus on end-user customers
Comfortable targeting people at the top management/board level through to the technical community.
Must be extremely driven and focused to achieve stretched targets.
Suggested backgrounds: Security vendors, networking vendors.
