RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client in search of a NYC3 Cyber Security Project Manager in Brooklyn, NY. Summary A seasoned project manager is required to support Client Cyber Command leadership in the management and optimization of its portfolio of established citywide cybersecurity programs, and evolving suite of cybersecurity controls deployment. These programs have significant complexity across many City agencies, stakeholders, other cybersecurity entities in government and the private sector, and our information-sharing partners. The PM will work directly with NYC3 program managers in Urban Technologies, Threat Management, Security Sciences and Operations, its FTEs, consultants and vendors coordinate with legal, contracting, finance, and communications teams to manage multi-functional team coordination, opportunity screening, develop RFI and RFP, benefitcost analysis, vendor selection, work plan scheduling, budget oversight, contractor management, issue resolution, reporting and project closeout functions. Schedule Normal business hours M-F 35 hourweek (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work) If more than 35 hoursweek, consultant must request OT in agency's timekeeping system and the PM must approve hours worked above the weekly max REQUIREMENTS Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing medium to large scale projects Willingness to travel within New York City for key meetings Desirable Skills PMP or equivalent certification 4 years of experience working with cybersecurity professionalspractitioners Proficient in managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies Experienced in developing RFI, RFP, benefitcost analysis Facilitate effective communication between projectprogram stakeholders Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
