NextGen IoT Alliances Partner Manager Designation Associate Director or Director Bay Area, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Boston, or other cities in these regions preferred BACKGROUND Cognizant is hiring for an IoT partner manager focused on the digital technologies that enable our key IoT solution offerings. We believe that by further incorporating partner technology and execution expertise with our IoT service offerings, we will increase our ability to solve for our clients' complex business outcomes. By dedicating focus to managing alliances with key devices, sensors, and software manufacturers we expect to enhance Cognizant's revenue generating abilility across a number of market verticals through our IoT solution offerings. This role requires relevant experience in managing strategic partner relationships, the ability to develop and communicate solid strategic business approaches, and the ability to orchestrate and manage multiple simultaneous initiatives in a highly matrixed organization. The goal is to accerate growth in Cognizant IoT solution offering and services revenue by developing an ecosystem of partners that combine industry strengths to deliver value propositions that solve our customer's needs and increase their digital maturity. POSITION OVERVIEW As a key member of the IoT alliances team you will be responsible for working with multiple specialized product and software partners to influence and enable IoT practice revenue. We are looking for someone forward-thinking - what are the next applications of IoT? You will be the primary person knowledgeable about how critical specialty partnerships can enhance and support the IoT Practice offerings. You will act as a leading advocate for solution definition and integration, and will be responsible for sales enablement with those partners. You will engage partners proactively to drive a business collaboration strategy and develop the action plans necessary to close business. Through engagement with the Cognizant sales, offerings, technical and alliance teams, you will translate the partnership plans into practice deliverables that can drive tangible business results. You will work to position Cognizant as a thought leader in IoT and Digital Transformation, and will orchestrate the incorporation of specialized partner ingredients to enhance and differentiate the value propositions of Cognizant IoT offerings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Lead all partner development opportunities in the Specialized Product and Software segment under the direction of the Head of Strategic Alliances, IoT ? Understand or be connected to current start-ups or new technologies in IoT ? Build and maintain influential business relationships, including with industrial service providers and equipment manufacturers ? Influence practice revenue growth through partner productservice integration, joint GTM initiatives, joint promotion initiatives, and client engagements ? Develop Cognizant thought leadership in digital thread for smart connected solutions ? Lead the creation of sales collateral to educate Cognizant and Partner sales resources on ways to position and sell solutions incorporating partner ingredient components ? Orchestrate appropriate technology capabilities training for Cognizant associates on partner products through Cognizant Academy resources ? Understand the partners solution technology to effectively position why their solutions enhance and augment Cognizant service offerings so that Cognizant wins more business with the partner ? Lead the research, evaluation, selection and onboarding of select partner companies ? Operate under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment
