Network Surveyor (Field-based)
* Exeter, Devon
* c£25,000 (plus Company Vehicle, Company Benefits, Training/Qualifications, etc.)
Skills and Experience:
* Experience with Fibre Network design, construction and/or installation
* Knowledge of Broadband network architecture (FTTX)
* Overhead and underground knowledge of BT is essential for this role
* Network Survey experience
* Health and safety qualifications (NRSWA operative Unit 2 and A9 BT Accreditation Underground Safety)
* Basic level of fitness are required
Role and Responsibilities:
* Working alongside the Construction & Outside Plant (OSP) team and Network Design team to survey 3rd party utility infrastructure
* Using a Geographic Information System (GIS) recording the availability and suitability of utilising 3rd party infrastructure (BT and Openreach), providing new build installation documentation and reports as required
* Leading teams of contractors, undertaking quality work under strict health and safety codes
* Conducting risk assessments and maintaining health and safety regulations
