Mobile Security Engineer NikSoft is currently conducting a search for a Mobile Security Engineer to add to its team in support of the United States Postal Service's Cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will experience an unparalleled large-scale enterprise environment with over 800 Information Technology systems, 10s of 1000s of servers, desktops, and mobile devices, processing billions of dollars in annual revenue and supporting a diverse user base spread across the entire US. Join the NikSoft team to scale your career to the next level. Responsibilities Seeking a professional and experienced Mobile Security Engineer to join our on-site client-facing team. The successful candidate will be highly proficient with MobileIron mobile device management software. Plan and carry out security measures in accordance with the organizations information security strategy in order to monitor and protect sensitive data and mobile devices from infiltration and cyber-attacks. Implement security standards and best practices, and recommend security enhancements for mobile computing. Utilize mobile device management, unified endpoint management, mobile threat defense, and other systems to protect the organization's sensitive information. Monitor mobile computer infrastructure and devices for security breaches or intrusions. Assist end-users with being compliant to security policies and to remediate instances of non-compliance. Develop strategies to respond to and recover from vulnerabilities, security breaches, infiltrations and cyber-attacks. Develop appropriate end-user documentation and training to educate the workforce and build awareness on information security. Qualifications BABS in computer science, information security, or a related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of hands on experience with MDM platforms (MobileIron preferred). Knowledge of mobile threat vectors, mobile threat detection tools, and mobile threat remediation Knowledge of risk assessment methods, tools, and technologies Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms, applications, and users Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies within a mobile computing environment Ability to communicate security issues to peers and management both orally and in writing Candidates must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Clearance (ship or required). Additionally, candidates must not have traveled outside of the USA for a combined period not to exceed 6 months within the last 5 years.
