Publishers Clearing House (PCH), headquartered in Jericho, NY and with offices in NYC, is looking for a Mobile Project Manager to manage and oversee the development of our mobile app products. You will help organize and maintain our app development product roadmap while working with a wide variety of stakeholders across the company.

YOU ARE:

As a Mobile Project Manager, you are well-versed in the full scope of the mobile app ecosystem (iOS, Android, Unity) as well as the development process. You are a leader, team player, adept at managing relationships, collaborating and influencing across a variety of organizational functions. You are a highly organized planner who will translate the company's business requirements into actionable tasks, including writing stories, planning roadmaps, and coordinating product schedules with your design, engineering, and QA teammates.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY SNAPSHOT:

  • Lead and organize our development and QA teams to help us build high-performing mobile apps and consumer facing products that allows us to win in the marketplace.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for your product lines, ensuring roadblocks are cleared and development teams have the information they need to complete their objectives.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps for your products that illustrate our development timelines and roadblocks.
  • Manage multiple product life cycles from sunsetting legacy products to prototyping and testing new features/products and ideas.
  • Act as a hands-on Project Manager for one or more apps which includes organizing and facilitating release and sprint planning sessions, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, retrospectives, story grooming sessions and any other Scrum related meetings, as well as updating and maintaining in the defined tool.
  • Guide QA on testing of various APPs and overseeing their test plans

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Project Management for Mobile Apps
  • Agile SCRUM and conventional project management
  • Previous experience with public facing Mobile Apps on iOS or Android
  • Knowledge of Mobile Apps and the full lifecycle of their development and deployment (iOS, Android, Unity)
  • Skilled with the following tools: Version One, Microsoft Office
  • Experience of working in an Agile development environment, e.g. Scrum or Kanban
  • Solid understanding of backend technologies that power mobile applications, ability to understand the implications of those systems within the mobile app ecosystem
  • Strong ability and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to speak knowledgeably with members of both the business and development teams
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, relationship and presentation skills
  • Desire to take ownership, be creative with problem solving, and proactively secure the objectives of the business
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and navigate through the technical and/or business constraints around a problem in order to drive towards a solution
  • Ability to garner trust from their team, other groups and business units
  • Strong goals setting and task prioritization abilities
  • Excellent team player and team builder
