Enterprise Technology (ET) - ET supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the most affordable possible cost for quality services. ET will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience. Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.The opportunityYou will join EY's Mobile Platform Services function as a Mobile Engineering Technical Lead. You will be responsible for the delivery and lifecycle management of the mobile platform that deliver key business apps.You will be responsible for researching, testing and designing new solutions that can be implemented as part of an ongoing mobile programme. The program's aim is to add business benefit by increasing mobile functionality across all major mobile platforms & devices.You will engineer technical deliverables on moderate to large size Infrastructure Engineering or Client projects reporting directly to assigned Project Manager, or staff resource responsible for completing assigned deliverables on large scale global projects reporting directly to the Infrastructure Engineering Technical/Team Lead.You will lead a team of Mobile engineers virtually situated across EY.Your key responsibilitiesProvide Consultancy expertise and Business Case Estimates, as requested.Responsible for producing Infrastructure Engineering deliverables meeting or exceeding established benchmarks for quality and performance in accordance with the project timeline. Responsible for translating detailed Requirements and Design and Solution Architecture deliverables into detailed design specifications.Responsible for translating detailed Requirements and Design and Solution Architecture deliverables into detailed design specifications.Responsible for maintaining effective and consistent communication within your team, with engineering peers, and the resources in other IT groups.Proactively raise issues to Technical, Team and Group Leads when necessary.Provides Level 4 support to Operations in the field of expertise.Develop and deliver infrastructure systems on project basis. Lead global Standard Technology exercises in accordance with Enterprise Architecture methodologies.Identify problems and opportunities in relation to relevant EY policies and procedures.Maintain adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.Provide support and documentation to assist in sustaining the project during the transition to production.Provide feedback regarding engineering methodologies, standards and leading practices.Identifies potential points of contention for missed activities and notify project leadership of situation and remediation plan.Provides input to Project Manager or Technical Lead related to responsible technologyDevelop presentations that have clarity and impact.Produce accurate, brief and clearly written documents tailored to audience needs and expectations.Minimizes technical exposure and risk on projectsWork closely with:Customer Portfolio Team to enable the business through technology.Strategy & Architecture to define and conform to global technology standards.Infrastructure Engineering Team/Group Leads to understand strategic goals/objectives and translate into actionable plansSolutions Delivery to build solutions as part of end-to-end projects.Operations managers to effectively and efficiently support the project during the warranty period Support Sourcing Managers in full lifecycle of contract management, negotiations and licensing renewals. Skills and attributes for successA deep understanding of EMM mobile security and management including MAM and MDM, and the iOS and Android operating systems.Technical knowledge of the following mobile and messaging technologies. (Microsoft Intune, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, ADFS )Technical knowledge of Citrix XenMobile platform and core mobile apps in that suite.A good understanding of NetScalars, Split tunnel and Proxy support and authentication protocols and in-depth knowledge of Citrix Secure mail is an advantage but not essential.An in-depth knowledge of Citrix Secure mail is an advantage but not essential.
