As a Mobile App Developer, you are responsible for designing and building Mobile apps in a cross platform (primarily iOS) environment that integrate with the back end through micro services and Java. The Mobile App Developer should have a demonstrated experience in creating world-class mobile apps using Native and Hybrid framework. In this role you will be responsible for working with the team and participate in building pragmatic solutions and solve complex business requirements within the context of digital transformation initiatives.

In this role you will be part of the Digital team that is responsible for strategizing and delivering digital solutions to cater for a diverse business community. You will be an integral member of an exciting environment where digital solutions through various channels (Web, APIs, Mobile etc) are being implemented. The position requires someone who is self-driven, with excellent communications skills (verbal and written), works well under pressure, and effectively work with cross-functional teams.

DAY TO DAY:

• Build out new PWA based React applications with new features and design changes to improve the user experience.
• Maintain legacy titanium based ios app.
• Work closely with the cross functional team of engineers to provide inputs from UX perspective and ensure integrations to back end are designed that are scalable and built appropriately.
• Designs, develops, and maintains user friendly mobile apps that are highly responsive and secure.
• Establishing and adhering to the coding standards and following Github branching and release strategies best practices.
• Work closely with business end users in defining the UX, wireframes and mockups.
• Perform tests locally as well as in an integrated, distributed environment.
• Participate in various ceremonies and build solutions in an agile environment.
• Create solution architectures and application designs that are flexible and scalable.
• Contributes to engineering communities of practice, and documents work.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Information Science or related technical field
• 5+ years of Information Technology development experience
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in Web Application development
• 3+ year in Hybrid web development in React, PWA is a plus
• 1+ Experience in developing in Cloud native development (Azure is a plus).
• Experience in integrating with microservices, APIs, ArrowDB.
• Knowledge of best practices and coding standards in Mobile applications.
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Development methodologies (SAFe is a plus)
• Excellent analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
• Excellent team player with proven ability to influence
• Willing to learn and work in a highly adaptable to a continuously changing environment
