The end client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas for this position; all parties authorized to work in the US without sponsorship are encouraged to apply.An American Company is seeking a Manager, Global IT Infrastructure (VMware, Active Directory) in Broomfield, CO.Role DescriptionThe Manager of Global IT Infrastructure will manage a team of 4 to 6 System Administrators located in various countries. The Global Infrastructure team manages all aspects of the Windows Server environment, ESXi Environment and related technologies. This could include but is not limited to Hardware, Storage, ESXi, vCenter, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, DFSr, SQl Server, IIS, Windows Updates, Aspects of Active Directory, Backups and related hardware and application software running under the Windows Operating System.The Manager of Global IT Infrastructure is also responsible for requirement analysis, project planning and coordination, application support, installing, patching and configuring software, troubleshooting, training users, problem management, and software maintenance.Skills & Requirements• 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator• Advanced Experience with VMware and Active Directory• Experience managing physical infrastructure hardware• Highly Motivated Individual looking to progress career• Advanced knowledge of ESXi and vCenter installation, support, patching and troubleshooting.• Advanced knowledge of networking, configuration and troubleshooting including L2, L3, routing, subnetting, port security.• Advanced knowledge of various storage technologies including DAS, NAS, SAS and iSCSI.• Advanced VMware experience.• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server installation, maintenance and troubleshooting including Active Directory, IPv4, DHCP, DFSr, Namespace, DNS, IIS, Clustering and Security.• PowerShell scripting skills.• Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server install, configuration, and backups.• Intermediate knowledge of UPSs, PDUs, CRAC units, power calculations and environmental monitoring.• Has an extreme sense of organization and detail, is very critical of the appearance of IT work.• Willingness to work in all areas of IT as needed.• Comfortable in a co-location environment, with regards to power and cable management, cooling, and adherence to installation standards• Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends to ensure customer satisfactionWhy Hays?You will be working with a professional recruiter who has intimate knowledge of the Information Technology industry and market trends .
