This position is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and extension of the Enterprise Infrastructure environment at ISO New England. The Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer collaborates with stakeholders, end users and senior leadership to further the strategic goals of the company in general, applying their skills to create technological solutions that enhance or complete the ISO-NE corporate strategy. The Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer strives to maintain a secure and compliant computing environment, while participating in evaluating existing systems and processes to identify improvements and updates that keep them running in optimal conditions. This individual would also be responsible for making independent technical decisions that are consistent with the architectural vision of management and infrastructure staff, while also mentoring and leading less senior staff.
Supported environments include, but are not limited to Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, O365, as well as a sizable number of both physical and virtual servers. Participate in an on-call rotation, which entails responding to after-hour trouble calls from IT Operations Technicians and Security Operations Technicians, with the potential of reporting to work, if necessary.

Lead Infrastructure Reviews
Develop bill of materials and costing for projects
Document project tasks and resource assignments
Set task schedules and timelines to meet project milestones
Lead meetings and update project status
Inform management of project status and risks
Design and execute proof-of-concept activities
Assist in product selection
Work with vendors to deploy new technologies
Track and update assigned activities
Ensure deliverables meet project goals and timelines
Inform management of blocking issues
Provide technical information to auditors
Assist in the development of management responses to audit findings
Execute finding remediation activities
Attend management meetings to provide insight to non-compliance issues
Design and implement security enhancements to computing environments, including lateral movement projections, tiered logins and CIS standard compliance
Develop asset life-cycle plans
Lead upgrade planning of end-of-life infrastructure
Attend infrastructure planning meetings
Execute compliance activities in a timely and accurate manner
Spearhead efforts around automation and configuration management
Design and implement efficiency and consolidation efforts across multiple Active Directory environments
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Cyber Security or related fields. Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
15+ years working with infrastructure technologies
10+ years integrating different infrastructure technologies
5+ years of project management
One or more, or demonstrated experience
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified Associate
VMWare Certified Advanced Professional
Red Hat Certified Specialist
Project Management Professional (PMP)
ITIL 4 Managing Professional
