DocuSign is looking for a Lead Security Software Engineer to join our platform development team in Seattle, Washington. This position is part of the core DocuSign platform engineering team and will build services and tools to help protect our platform, applications, services and data centers. Our team is looking for a talented individual with a passion for customer and infrastructure security. As this is a brand new team, you will be helping to define the vision, approach and our roadmap. Your background will show that it involves strategy, delivery, and implementation in past roles. You'll collaborate with development teams across DocuSign to help understand their security challenges and how we can best support them in delivering secure and trustworthy software. Examples of the types of projects you'll work on include, building infrastructure to isolate untrusted code execution, shared authorization services, data center access control and authentication, edge networking protection and more.
This position reports to the Senior Director Engineering - Platform Security Infrastructure.

Think about how to solve problems in scale and build fault tolerant systems
Develop high-quality, ship-ready code that is covered by a full test suite
Design and develop user interfaces and core functionality to allow internal and third-party developers to more easily integrate applications with DocuSign
You must want to be involved with the design, not just code to a spec
Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of products
Bachelors or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics or equivalent.
12 years development experience
Experience working with C#, Go, Java or other modern programming languages
Experience with one or more of the following
Operating system security
Authentication and authorization systems
Intrusion detection and security monitoring
Experienced building/consuming RESTful web-services
Directly involved in the design and operation of large scale cloud services
Experiences with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git), build process, testing, and code release.
Ability and desire to move across technology stacks fluently and easily
Passion for working on a highly available site
Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, prioritize your work and manage your own time
A passion to learn new software technologies
