Fantastic opportunity available for a AI/ML Engineer to work with a cutting edge software house that caters for highly secure environments. They work in a language agnostic fashion and this promotes and environment or research, collaboration and innovation. They have a wide range of opportunities in this area so your role will vary depending on your existing experience, their clients' needs and your aspirations.

This role will increase your abilities through working alongside their wealth of specialist AI/ML Engineers, data scientists and software engineers on various projects, from concepts in the innovation lab through to large scale enterprise systems.

Your day to day Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing AI/ML solutions within one or more of their client side teams in the Gloucester area.
  • Providing technical leadership to other more junior members of the team.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders during the development cycle.

You will have the following skills:

    • Extensive expertise in designing, building, testing and maintaining production software applications that integrate AI services and include data science models.
    • Highly proficient in applying mathematics principles to gain insight from data.
    • Technical leadership of teams building and testing modern, scalable, secure, performant applications, which integrate AI and Machine Learning technologies, in line with industry software development principles, practices and patterns.
    • Experience of technical ownership for an AI product/software project, including architecture, estimation, product planning and user story/requirement creation.
    • Expertise in software design and development across all layers of an application
    • Mentoring and coaching members of your team and wider community.
    • Experience with major machine learning frameworks, languages and NLP frameworks.

Additional notes:

Due to the nature of role, we require you to either hold or be eligible to achieve SC or DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years for SC and 10 years for DV.
