Our clients is a global association of over 850-member companies mostly made up of Telecommunications Service Providers and association. When it was set up the organisation was focused on providing a forum to agree on frameworks so that OSS / BSS solutions could be built in a compatible way. Since then the organisation has gone on to champion Digital Transformation through its frameworks, training, events, and consulting offerings.

They are looking for an Inside Sales Manager. The objective of the role is to significantly improve our Sales & Marketing interlock by providing a standardised and effective process for the handling of all incoming sales leads. Through continuous feedback, this critical role will help marketing deliver more targeted leads, whilst ensuring all leads are handled in a consistent, timely and effective manner. Success in this role will shorten sales cycles, improve the win/loss ratio and contribute significantly to the overachievement of sales targets.

This is a full-time remote-working position, but some international travel may be required post-pandemic with flexible hours needed to accommodate team calls in different time zones. Our people are unique and many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways.

Specific Responsibilities:

SPOC for all incoming leads sent from Marketing
Develop close working relationships with all marketing teams across the business (Membership, TT&S, Events, R&M, Catalysts)
Defining and refining process for effective leads management
Effective data management using
Customer contact to qualify lead, identify specific needs, decision-making process, stakeholders, buying cycles etc
Allocation of leads to respective sales teams/individuals
Internal ‘policing’ and follow-up to ensure swift
Closing quick-wins
Sales prospecting and lead generation
Continuous feedback to marketing
Meeting KPIs for response times
Regular SFDC Updates
Accurate forecasting & reporting
Provide weekly report of leads received and current status to the Senior Director, Memberships
Ongoing process design and improvement
Joining team calls & leading monthly updates

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years of international sales experience
Highly motivated and competitive self-starter who’s driven to succeed
Structured, consultative sales approach, with the ability to close business
Articulate, professional team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Good understanding of the telecoms industry desirable
Previous experience selling marketing solutions (Events, Research, Media) preferred
