Infrastructure Architect contract to kick off next phase of digital journey for fantastic charity, £450 a day
Your new company
Your new organisation will be a fantastic, socially positive charity who seek to rid the challenges face in the digitalized world. This is a crucial moment in their growth strategy as they look to implement Salesforce Cloud and Tableau to vastly improve their digital capabilities. This role is expected to run for 4 months.
Your new role
Within this role, you'll be working closely with the organisation and it's leaders to ensure the digital services that they provide to their network are modern, intuitive and efficient. This is will involve leading their Salesforce Cloud and Tableau implementations, alongside this having a hand in the redesign and rebuild of their learning management application. You'll be working closely with the Head of Digital to define and document the future state of the information systems, centred around the Salesforce implementation whilst ensuring transition states are outlined and all architecture solutions artifacts are documented. You'll lead on the definition of the robust and secure 2-way integration between Salesforce and the self-service web interface currently used by community partners You'll ensure the correct technology choices are made for the rebuild of the learning service platform, promoting the use of reuse, interoperability, sustainability and scalability to achieve value for money. Lastly, working closely with the team of talented Testers and Developers, you'll document a robust architecture change management process for the organisation to adopt. Being a team player, you'll communicate and work with a range of internal parties and external consultants to develop the organisations strategy for the next 5 years.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed within this contract, you should be able to demonstrate your experience within solution and Infrastructure design and documentation, ideally within the Salesforce integration field. Having previously worked on a successful Salesforce integration into an existing estate is preferable for this role. You'll have a good knowledge of enterprise architecture strategies and have previous experience with AWS/Cloud architectures, ideally integrating into these at a data or API level. TOGAF experience is desirable as is experience implementing Tableau.
What you'll get in return
This role will be home based until Covid-19 restrictions are lifted with the normal working location being Sheffield. The role may be extended if work is completed successfully.
