Avanade Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Security Mobility Architect/Capability Lead to lead Avanade's Infrastructure Talent Community offerings in regards to Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS) within the Western Region of the U.S. You will: define EMS strategies based on clients' needs; identify and forecast resourcing needs for global technical projects based on skillset demand in the region; lead talent readiness scheduling, changeability, recovering, & operating excellence activities for the infrastructure talent community; build EMS expertise of offshore delivery center and evaluate and increase the EMS talent pool; assume ownership of project-deployable resource management; lead talent readiness, scheduling, chargeability, recovering, & operating excellence activities; identify areas of cost control; support effective management/deployment of resources; analyze productivity/chargeability of technical resources to identify gaps/issues; lead a diverse team of consulting professionals in the design, build and testing phases of mobility and security solutions; manage financial components of projects; and provide ongoing training and development. The candidate will spend 80% of his/her time traveling to client sites domestically and internationally. However, as the individual spends 20% of his/her time working in Los Angeles, CA s/he must live within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA.
The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or other closely related field, plus at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or in a related role within the IT or IT consulting industry. The qualified applicant's experience must include the following: 3 years of experience utilizing the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) including Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection, Azure Active Directory Premium, and Azure Rights Management; 5 years of experience using competing mobile device management products such as Exchange Active Sync; 5 years of experience participating in full SDLC delivery; 5 years of experience defining, managing, and executing mission-critical global enterprise projects using metrics evaluation techniques (productivity, scope of work, KPIS, cost management, and gross margin); and 5 years of experience performing effort estimation, resource forecasting, workforce planning, delivery forecasting, and costing analysis for initial engagement efforts with respect to a technical client service opportunity.
