Role Lead, research, develop, articulate, document and ensure compliance with strategies associated with specific components of the organizationrsquos security infrastructure. Will have architectural responsibility for strategies associated with specific security disciplines such as system architecture, network architecture, software architecture or solution architecture. Responsibilities Ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements Develop the business, information and technical artifacts that constitute the enterprise information security architecture and solutions Serve as a security expert in application development, database design, network andor platform (operating system) efforts, helping project teams comply with enterprise and information technologies (IT) security policies, industry regulations, and best practices Contribute to the alignment of security governance with enterprise architecture (EA) governance and project and portfolio management (PPM) Perform network security design and management Perform and coordinate on-going security penetration testing in the infrastructure and business acquisitions Lead and perform work with Information Services departments, project managers, support group personnel, vendors and analyst organizations to define secure infrastructure requirements and evaluate technology alternatives that are cost efficient, effective and consistent with the organizationrsquos strategic goals Maintain an understanding of business strategies and requirements to ensure secure technology decisions are aligned with business needs Qualifications 10+ years of relevant work experience. Knowledge of a security-specific architecture methodology (for example, SABSA) is required. A bachelorrsquos degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems is preferred. Formal training in a relevant enterprise architecture methodology (for example, the Zachman Framework or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)) is preferred.
