RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client in search of an InfrastructureNetwork Engineer III in Dorchester, MA. Key Tasks Designs, analyzes and supports the company's information technology structure, systems and processes Acquires, designs, implements and operates the company's information technology resources (e.g., computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, data, databases, etc.) Deploys, acquires, maintains and ensures security of information technology assets Plans and tests processes to ensure compliance with system requirements, business objectives, security standards and other technical requirements Work Complexity Acts as the technical liaison between operations teams, engineers and architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to highly complex (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility Defines improvements increased system reliability and performance Facilitates the development and implementation of Infrastructure Engineering standards Work Planning Works with project managers to coordinate and plan project tasks and resources Participates in short- and long-term planning efforts with stakeholders and IT groups Develops costtime estimates and participate in Business Case analysis when infrastructure components are involved Business Requirements Participates in business requirements meetings as needed Communicates events to stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership Works with project teams to understand business needs Work with different support teams (legal, procurement, PMO, etc.) throughout the duration of the projects Technical interface between business lines and 3rd party vendors REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated knowledge of Infrastructure Solutions design (resilience, compliance, security) Hands-on experience working with Infrastructure design and implementation Demonstrated knowledge of Infrastructure Solutions troubleshooting Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology domain (Virtualization, Networking, Systems, Storage, Middleware, Databases) Good understanding of best practices and standards for cyber resiliency designs (Disaster Recovery, Data protection, Data Recoverability, etc.) Executes against understanding of market best practices and industry frameworks (FFIEC guidelines, NIST standards, etc.) Strong desire to produce quality work, adopt standards and adhere to those standards High understanding how to manage, provision, deploy and remove Infrastructure as code and how automation can help improve efficiencies, quality, reliability and response time Strong understanding of cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) and experience designing, deploying and operating services in public cloud providers Technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills, project management and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels (technical and business audiences) and in different situations This includes the ability to develop clear, concise documentation Proven ability to positively manage work in a dynamic environment, with virtual teams and to work autonomously as required Excellent attention to detail, quality, and follow-through Commitment to continuous improvement and the elimination of performance variability Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
