RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure IT Manager in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities:
  • Manages all IT activities in the organization. Implements and maintains the policies and goals for the IT department to support the company's needs. Ensures proper information system operations and plans necessary upgrades
  • Oversees the internal IT support function
  • Conducts research and recommends the selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
  • True first level manager
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions
  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.)
