As a core member of the Multi-Cloud team, the Infrastructure Integration Lead will be responsible for helping direct and guide the delivery of key priorities across multiple stakeholders, with the assistance of the Project Manager and Technical Support teams. While being predominantly internally focused, this position will require strong communication to bridge between various Infrastructure and Application teams as well as an excellent ability to navigate within a background of relative ambiguity
Supports IT project start up though technical consultation, charter definition, benefit and analysis, requirements gathering and formal PMO approval.
Provides technical leadership and support to project managers; including building detailed migration plans, measuring and tracking progress, managing key risks & issues, and reporting out status.
Partners with all members of project team as a technical lead in the planning, design, coordination and execution of comprehensive, realistic and effective work plans.
In partnership with architecture, helps gather requirements, define options and develop holistic integrated solutions to complex business challenges.
Establishes standards, policies & guidelines for the Compute Platform in collaboration with service line owner and technology teams
Leads matrixed teams in the design and operational delivery of technology solutions in support of key business priorities across the company.
Partners with IT Leaders, Infrastructure specialists, and technology suppliers in the evaluation, piloting and delivery of new technology for the organization
Improves service and cost efficiency though continuous assessment of technology and operational processes
Helps promote a consistent vision and strategy throughout the organization
Builds relationships that foster collaboration and partnerships to drive better strategies, priorities, and service to the customer
Helps build and maintain documentation repositories associated with project efforts
Assists and oversees quality change control according to Change Management Methodology
Mentors members of the Infrastructure team on architectural, engineering and operational best practices
Provides escalated support for Business-Critical problems
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college in computer science or related field
7+ years' experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting services and cloud infrastructure.
Minimum 7 years' experience engineering, building, and supporting a global heterogeneous multi-data center computing environment of at least 1000 servers
A holistic understanding of IT infrastructure inclusive of server, storage, network, virtualization, database, DR/business recovery and continuity practices, etc.
A foundational understanding of public cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
Demonstrated experience leading complex infrastructure projects such as Infrastructure currency, Application and data center consolidation, Identity Management and O365 migrations (Mail, Lync, One Drive, SharePoint)
Proven ability to facilitate the gathering and translation of business requirements into quality infrastructure solutions, reflecting security, scalability, availability, performance, manageability constructs
Demonstrated expertise driving operational improvement and excellence under an ITIL based service management model.
Proven ability to influence and interact effectively with peers and IT leaders
Strong crisis management
Working knowledge of Converged and Hyper Converged technologies such as Cisco UCS, Dell VXRail, or Nutanix
Experience with On-prem cloud management platforms such as VMWare Cloud Foundations
Experience working and integrating operational processes and capabilities into a Service now framework
Experience designing and implementing solutions under a Cloud DevOps or Agile Development model and process framework
