We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (ServiceNow) to join our Information Technology Services (ITS) group in any of the following office locations: Princeton, NJ; Ann Arbor, MI; Tuscon, AZ; Cambridge, MA; Oakland, CA; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; or Woodlawn, MD (but working remotely until we re-open the office). The Engineer will be responsible for triage and monitoring of various ticket queues as well as day-to-day administration activities within ServiceNow.

Responsibilities:
  • ServiceNow administration activities such as: workflow and UI troubleshooting; report building; and user and role management
  • Assist in planning and implementation of new features, and workflows
  • Triage and monitor various ticket and request queues to ensure that required data is present and timely action is being taken
  • Identify recurring issues with processes and suggest data-supported areas of improvement
  • Work with team leads to understand the process requirements related to support tickets and requests; propose system improvements under the direction of the ServiceNow manager


Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field; equivalent professional IT experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog)
  • Working knowledge of ITIL framework
  • Experience building various reports (including those containing Service Catalog variables)
  • Strong JavaScript skills required; experience with PowerShell coding and REST API integrations preferred
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Security ACLs and ability to troubleshoot user access issues
  • Experience with ServiceNow LDAP integration and Single Sign-on configuration
  • Experience developing and customizing Service Portal
  • Experience with ServiceNow Asset Management, Discovery, and Service Mapping a plus
  • As a federal government contractor, all staff working in our central ITS group with access to corporate computer systems are required to successfully undergo a background investigation or security clearance as a condition of employment

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $70,000 - $90,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
