Windows Server, Implementation of VMWare VSphere, Veeam Backup, back up storage solutions, Office 365, Azure
Great engineers often like to be in the thick of juicy transformations, using the latest tech and or help transition into the latest technologies.
If that sounds like you, then read on…
We are recruiting for an infrastructure engineer. Someone who has experience implementing VMware Vsphere 6.5, someone who has experience moving legacy desktops into a virtualised environment too.
You will be involved in the thick of the projects- including an upcoming £multi-million migration of their infrastructure estate.
Tech-wise, we're looking at Windows Server '08-'16, VMWare Vsphere, Switch technology (Layer 2 & 3 Switching), Virtual and physical firewalls as well as Office 365 & Azure.
Whilst we don't need someone who can boast plenty of experience with all of the above, it is required that nothing of the above will scare you too much.
There's a critical programme of work soon to be under way and getting the right Infrastructure Engineer is crucial.
You will be part of a small team who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business' server estate (desktop/virtual/physical) and can really drive improvements in resilience and scalability whilst improving the experience for hundreds of internal users.
Enough about what they want though, what do you get?
Well, you'll be an integral player for a great business. Not just a cog in a machine but someone who will be trusted to do what they do best. They are not corporate but they are serious about doing a great job. In recent years, they've really adopted a tech-first approach to their operations and this role will be a crucial one to help continue this.
You'll be competitively paid for the skills you bring (ask me for more details on salary), 25 days holiday (increasing with service), pension and a host of local discounts for whenever the world fully restarts and a clear career path laid out infront of you.
