• Unique opportunity to help migrate hosted infrastructure to AWS! RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER • Establish rapport with internal and external clients to service the IT Infrastructure
• Manage trouble ticket system and general requests i.e. user provisioning, firewall updates, patches, etc.
• Daily monitoring of the server and security environments
• Review security logs and monitor alerts
• Streamline processes and identify efficiencies
• Manage major projects including migration to AWS
• Assisting with security measures including but not limited to technical write-up of security incidents, security patching, participating as a member of the incident response team, etc. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, related degree, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and/or cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience with Windows based server environment physical and virtual (VMWare)
• Solid understanding of Cyber Security
• Previous experience in an enterprise level organization
• Strong will and determination - ability to follow through on project responsibilities and deliver on time
