Our client, a well established Managed Service Provider, are actively recruiting for a 3rd line, infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team.

They are lucky enough to still be hiring and growing during this difficult time, and are looking to add to their team healthy time of like minded professionals, to help support their clients across the UK at this vital time for businesses.

Daily tasks:
  • Provide 3rd / Third line level support to all customers
  • Take technical escalations from first and second level support
  • Deliver high quality documentation and troubleshooting guides for other team members and customers
  • Ensuring all faults are progressed & cleared within SLA - escalating as required
  • Ensuring case notes are clear, kept up to date and accessible for other members of the team
  • Feeding back to relevant managers and customers to ensure solutions are being handled correctly
  • Helping the team with uptime and future capacity plans

Experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of the full Microsoft Product stack
  • Experience and knowledge of working with Apple Mac's
  • In depth knowledge and experience of working with networking services
  • Experience of delivering and managing cloud based technologies such as VMware
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • Experience in delivering technical support within a managed services environment
  • Must be able to demonstrate a customer first approach to support, great communication skill
  • The ability to liaise and communicate confidently and professionally with customer representatives at all levels
  • Natural aptitude for troubleshooting & problem solving
  • Have solid experience in a helpdesk or technical support environment
  • Highly organised and able to work on own initiative to complete the range of tasks required
  • Flexible and willing to work outside core business hours as required

Salary and Benefits:
  • 30,000 - 32,500 starting salary
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Access to company van for site visits (pool van) and more
