Infrastructure Engineer - Cambridgeshire - Linux
£40-45,000 + on-call + package
Concept IT are looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer to join a well-established and growing organisation. You will be providing 3rd line technical support and assist with project work using the latest Linux technologies.
This is a great opportunity with a growing organization to develop skills, obtain some of the latest training and work on exciting projects for major clients.
The role is currently based remotely but will return to the offices once things are back to normal but will offer some WFH flexibility long term.
Job Overview
This will be a senior role within the team so looking for someone who is proactive and can help support junior members of the team when required.
You will be supporting, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering the latest technologies for a mixture of major enterprise clients and SME businesses. Key technology stack is Linux OS (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Centos & Oracle)
The ideal candidate will also have some experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V) and be keen to develop skills in this area.
Technical Requirements
Previous experience of 3rd level technical support
Experience configuring, troubleshooting and administering Linux OS
Red Hat, Centos, Ubuntu, Oracle
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
Experience working with customers and good communication skillsSalary on offer is £40-45,000 + on-call + package
