You're the vision. An engineering authority. A project is no generic to-do list when you're around. You collaborate. You improve. You innovate. The thrill isn't completion; it's the journey. Issues you identified and resolved. And that visual legacy of your contribution.
You got into civil design and infrastructure engineering to make a difference, take a lead, and leave your mark. Not to be micromanaged. Not to follow instructions. Not to have to ask for permission every two minutes.
A project is as good as its leadership, and you relish the responsibility. If you thrive on grabbing engineering challenges by the scruff of the neck, pulling people together, and making things work, this is the career move for you.
