Software Guidance Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for aSenior Business Systems Analystfor a CONTRACTassignment with one of our premier Financial Servicesclients in Broomfield, CO. The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for working across various IT infrastructure and application teams to support an upcoming Data Center move. This role will lead the technical requirement discovery, analysis and documentation efforts as part of the project's core technical team (across applications, databases, servers, active directory, and network). Additionally, the role will be responsible to understand the future state architectural and security requirements and will, along with application and database architects and developers, work to identify and technically document required changes. The role will also require light project management duties to help plan, track, coordinate and communicate the status of the technical work. This includes prior to and during the data center move the role will be responsible for supporting both the planning, execution and communication of system testing efforts. To be successful in the role, you must have - Strong analytic and technical aptitude Confidence in your ability to define and direct analytic approaches to arrive at desired outcomesdeliverables Strong documentation and technical writing skills (including systems diagraming) Ability to multi-task and manage priorities Operate effectively, even when tasks are not clear, or a detailed task-level project plan is not in place Strong ability to collaborate both in person and remotely Understanding and ability to execute basic project management skills. Responsibilities Assist in the comprehensive technical assessment, review and documentation of ICAT's current-state and future-state infrastructure (active directory, servers, application, databases, jobs, etc.). This includes technical specification drafting, architectural diagraming, and design documentation. Manage, and update as needed, technical documentation for the comprehensive datacenter move and restore effort. Plan and facilitate requirement gathering sessions within and across technical teams and third party partners. Support and participate in project planning and estimation efforts. Report on status of technical analysis, manage and keep on track. Coordinate interactions with impacted areas per the project plan help to keep the extended project team on target and focused. Lead andor support the required review activities, and regularly report project progress and status. Work across technical teams local, corporate and third party, and provide continuity, communication and documentation across. Work closely withtechnical teams (application development, infrastructure, dev ops, DB, data, and QA) and proactively suggest approaches and outline potential challenges and options to address. Required Skills BABS in Information Technology, Information Management, or equivalent experience 7 or more years' experience in technical systems analysis Experience working in Infrastructureenvironment, preferably 2+ years' direct experience in datacenter migrationmove projects Aptitude to learn new concepts and understand technologies quickly and with minimal direction. Organized and detail-oriented (extremely important) Basic project management skills including meeting facilitation, actiontask management, plan estimating, summary project status reporting. Good decision-maker, and communicator with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the effort moving forward productively. Ability to establish and maintain respectful and productive working relationships within and across all work groups, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperation. Understands business and technology environments, application, systems and process Strong documentation and technical writing skills to draft and maintain technical artifacts. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities Able to operate effectively, even when tasks are not clear, or project plan is not in place.
