Job Description Client is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect knowledgeable in on-premise, cloud and hybrid systems design, networking, operations, problem analysis and resolution.Job duties will include:Work with vendors to create Bill Of Materials and quotes for HW, SW, servicesWork with Operations teams to document/update current physical infrastructureOversee preparation of Technical Solution Docs for leveraged solution enter team requestsResearch and recommend future deployments into cloud.Work with other account Applications Architects on Operational Excellence proposal solutionsMaintains strong relationships with clients - in particular those in senior technical rolesWorks with clients to develop a clear understanding their business needs and technology needsMentors and provides guidance and best practices to the infrastructure architects and system administrators in areas such as developing network diagramsAllocates work assignments to infrastructure architectsSupports the Chief Architect to cultivate a culture of architectural maturity and contribute to continuing education standards for the architecture teamLiaises and coordinates with other account teams in particular the ITO TeamLiaises with other vendors that support the client in areas related to Infrastructure ArchitectureSupports definition of overall architecture strategy through the definition of an infrastructure architecture strategy in areas such as cloud, cloud migration, and workload placementSupports new business opportunities in areas related to infrastructure and infrastructure architectureKeeps current with industry and architecture trends in areas such as cloud and infrastructure architecture including performing tool evaluations and implementing proof of conceptsKeeps current with Client Product and Service offeringsMaintains infrastructure architecture and infrastructure modeling standards, tools and deliverables in areas such as capacity management and disaster recovery/businessMaintains the infrastructure architecture models including Reference Models, Viewpoints, Infrastructure Architecture Deliverables, and infrastructure Modeling ToolsUnderstands the overall infrastructure architecture of the accountParticipates in the governance process for all architectural changes with a focus on infrastructure architectureEnsures new and updated infrastructure components adhere to standards and consider non-functional requirements such as reuse,reliability, performance, maintainability, scalability, and capacityParticipates in post release reviews and ensures learnings are documented and incorporated for future projectsWorks with other architects to develop high level estimates and solution architectures for new or updated componentsMaintains awareness in the day-to-day activities on the accountWorks with other architects to ensure components of the environment are kept up to date, secure, and healthy such as servers and networking components both on-premises and in the cloud.Monitors and reports on relevant Key Performance Indicators such as utilization, capacity, and availability statisticsWorks with other architects to ensure relevant components and/or component metadata are maintained in the proper repository such as the CMDBParticipates in Incident Management and Problem ManagementWorks with the business office to ensure relevant 3rd party licenses and software management agreements are accurate and renewed as needed.Candidates should be proficient in the following skills:Minimum five years of experience managing a Health and Human Services automation system, including problem resolution and troubleshooting responsibilities.Minimum five years of experience in implementing the Equipment proposed by the Vendor across a Wide Area Network (WAN) to multiple remote locationsExperience and/or knowledge of managing a project with Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model (SEI CMMI) Level 2 or higher certificationExperienced leading and directing operations technical teamsExperience advising and working with technical managers and account leadersExperience presenting system planning information to customersExperienced with modeling and right sizing systems, servers, load balancers and storage devicesExperienced in Developing network infrastructure solutions.Proficient in ITIL strategy, network security, Network Components, Active Directory and protocols.Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS, shells scripting, web hosting, middleware administrationArchitecture Certifications (TOGAF, CITA, EACOE, Certified SOA Architect, etc.) a plusAWS Experience including estimating/cost calculator, VPC configuration, EC2 sizing, containers, DevOps CI/CD a plusEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
