Designs and implements the design of Windows Active Directory and Office 365 system for optimal user functionality. Resolves any help desk tickets as related to network and or telecommunications. Responsible for vendor management as related to voice and data.30% - Quality and Continuous Improvements Analyses the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develops opportunities for improvements. Identifies when necessary, proposes variances to the architecture to accommodate project needs. Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts and technology priorities. Coordinates network architecture implementation and modification activities. Leads in post implementation and continuous improvements efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality. Creates detailed plans for integration of new systems architecture into existing infrastructure. Recommend Alternative Technologies and Improvements. Based on IT knowledge and analysis of systems' needs, recommend alternative technologies or improvements to enhance information systems to support organizational goals. Consults with project teams to ensure compatibility of new project initiatives with existing architectural infrastructure. Contributes to the development of software and data delivery platforms as related to network architecture. Analyses existing infrastructures to ensure adequate security and the systems and technology solutions in place are meeting the needs of the organization. Aligns architectural requirements with IT strategy. Coordinates with all areas to ensure the systems are working optimally and meeting the needs of the organization. Analyzes business requirements to identify and integrate new hardware, operating systems or connectivity solutions.15% - Documents and maintains network architecture road maps including system component inventory, address and telecom circuity inventory, floor plans, network diagrams and operational policies and procedures. Responsible for the organization server room including maintenance and security.10% - Business Continuity: Ensures networks, and other organization data are backed up andoptimal fail over options are in place. Participates in business continuity tests and maintains business continuity documentation as related to networks. Web Server and application server administration and web applications deployment experience. Architecture certification preferred.EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESA college degree.
