Help secure our valuable water resources by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple key processes, technologies, and systems. This position entails expertadvanced-level technical work dealing with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems and applications, varying in size from departmental level to enterprise-wide. With this role, you will have the opportunity to troubleshoot system and application problems, conduct research, and assist with the implementation of improvements and new technology solutions. Manages an effective relationship with hardwaresoftware vendors. Acts as liaison with manufacturers and vendors of softwarehardware and application products, especially regarding problem diagnosis and resolution. Implements vendor applications and changes in concert with customer needs Installation, configuration and support of enterprise hardware including daily management, resource monitoring, and issueproblem resolution. Installation, configuration and support of MS Windows servers including file system management, resource monitoring, user administration, Active Directory integration, package management, and issueproblem resolution. Implements changes to enterprise environment plans and executes hardwaresoftware version upgrade releases. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple of the following technologies Microsoft Windows Servers Enterprise computing environments VMware Veeam Microsoft SQL databases Technical Project Management Storage technologies, SAN, NAS, Cloud, Hybrid Azure Infrastructure As A Service (IAAS) Cisco Unified Compute System Participates in designing, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting enterprise hardware and software systems (third party and custom). Supports user community. Required Credentials for Systems Administrator Opportunity Senior System Administrator Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, or related field. Six (6) years related work experience Equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted Experience with Enterprise Change Management, Incident Patch Management Experience with the following technologies Microsoft Windows Servers Enterprise computing environments VMware Veeam Microsoft SQL databases Technical Project Management Storage technologies, SAN, NAS, Cloud, Hybrid Azure Infrastructure As A Service (IAAS) Cisco Unified Compute System Valid driver's license Architect System Administrator Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, or related field.
