CollabraLink is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide in-depth expertise for the project and, under general supervision, assists the project with the development and execution of policies and procedures. Responsibilities Plans, implements, upgrades, or monitors security measures for the protection of computer networks and information across up to 11 Agile teams. Ensures appropriate security controls are in place and documented to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. Provide subject matter expertise and consulting on security related matters for enterprise information system and network architectures, access problems, and implementation of security policies and procedures. Ensure secure access and protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of data. Demonstrate a familiarity with a variety of security concepts, practices, and procedures. Perform a variety of tasks and work under general supervision. Oversee and manage day-to-day operation of Information Systems. Optimize system operation and resource utilization, and perform system capacity planninganalysis while maintaining the security posture. Perform system security analyses on client networks and systems provide guidance, training, research, and recommendations on client networks and AIS perform security audits, evaluations, and risk assessments of complex operational systems and facilities and provide recommendations for remediating detected vulnerabilities conduct security and internal control reviews of sensitive systems. Conduct specific technical reviews to support non-standard operational requirements and systems design, develop, and maintain unique security tools and techniques for conducting security assessments provide advanced technical computer and communications security assistance provide expert assistance and recommendations in the field of Information Assurance and Cybersecurity. Conduct security assessments, security authorizations, and evaluations of applications and systems processing sensitive or classified information develop requirements and specifications for reviewing and approving procurement requests, major systems development activities, telecommunications and teleprocessing hardware and software, and hardware and software encryption techniques on the basis of security concerns and assess technology to ensure that security vulnerabilities are identified and remediated. Develop and maintain IT security documentation, including system security plan, risk assessment, Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), contingency plan, incident response plan, IT security policies and procedures, etc. Required Experience Minimum of seven (7) years of security engineering experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Candidate should have strong analytical and organizational skills. Candidate should have concise writing skills Has demonstrated experience with BSDUnixLinux, Windows, or open systems-compliant systems. Thorough understanding and knowledge of FISMA and SAA process. Understanding of cloud, Amazon Web Services, and FedRAMP. Experience with vulnerability assessments tools such as Nessus, Security Center, RMS, CSAM. Bachelor's Degree Required Required to possess one of the following CAP or CISSP or GSEC or GICSP or CCSP Preferred Experience Experience with projects with DevSecOps implementations Working knowledge of Cloud applications and mobile applications Experience working in Cloud Production environments (AWS) Experience with securing Cloud environments preferred.
