We are currently headhunting for a fast growing, US listed, 1000 person Cyber Security vendor and I was wondering if you might be interested in an Enterprise & Government Sales role based in the UK or might be able to recommend someone to me.

The client has an office in Central London with around 20 people based in the UK but this role could be based from home. The role will involve selling into all verticals apart from the Telco Service Provider market. The client supplies 11 of the top 20 global banks, 8 of the top 12 stock exchanges and 3 of the 8 biggest North American application companies so is well positioned for growth.

The client's solution competes with products / companies like Akamai CDN, DDoS, WAF, Cisco ASA PIX FW, Citrix NetScaler, Check Point FW, Corero DDoS, F5 ADC, DDoS, WAF, Fortinet DDoS, FW, Imperva/Incapsula and Paolo Alto.

The description is as follows:

Enterprise Senior Account Manager UK

To engage within key Enterprise & Government industries. To define and represent the enhanced my client's proposition to defined players in this market segment and to aggressively grow my client’s market share and revenues from these key Enterprise & Government accounts.


Networking and/or security experience.
Minimum 8 years sales experience in a direct touch sales role.
Knowledge of the market (customers, companies, competitors, key players, existing contacts)
Be able to competently and confidently discuss and articulate key business and technology factors affecting major corporations
Proven successful sales track record in a difficult market climate selling high value / high complexity solutions
Exposure to and experience within the security sector in an Enterprise/Government context will be a plus
Candidates would ideally come from Software Security Vendors, Networking vendors...
Effective and influential verbal, written, electronic communication and presentation skills
Extremely professional
Pro-active, solutions-oriented and innovative
Able to work effectively and collaboratively under pressure and in a team environment
Must be influential, and client-focused, comfortable targeting clients at board level through to staff/engineer level
Must be sharp, assertive, polished, professional and entrepreneurial
Must be extremely driven and focused to achieve stretching targets
