Be More Than You Can Imagine .This position is with the Skunk Works Sensor Systems team located in Fort Worth, TX. This Electronics Engineering position is focused design, development, integration and operation of RF Hardware/Software controlled instrumentation systems for purposes of characteristic assessment of major weapon systems during field trials.Eligible candidates must be able to perform as a part of a multidiscipline and multifunctional team and be willing to travel and work in remote, isolated and austere locations as needed to complete projects. Work while on travel will involve field trial operations being conducted and demonstrated under the direct oversight of the sponsoring government agency and their core of other nationally asset recognized consultant contractor personnel.This position will also involve synthesis of customer and internal requirements, and also an in depth knowledge of complex RF control / theory-based instrumentation applications involving linear and non-linear algorithmic control processes.Willing and able to travel regularly to isolated locations for 1-2 weeks at a time (classified trips, closed areas with little outside connections).Candidate must have an active secret clearance or above for consideration.A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.What's In It For YouOur employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually. Basic Qualifications:• Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor's Degree• Experience with Radar, EW, or Weapon system CharacterizationDesired Skills:• Experience with Radar, EW, or Weapon system Characterization• Masters Degree in a Technical Discipline (EE, SW Engineer, Aerospace, etc.)• Understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) theoretical concepts and ability to apply that knowledge• Working knowledge of MATLAB and SIMULINK dynamic simulation and modeling• Software design using C/C++ programming languages• Working knowledge of PXI/VXI type embedded instrument control test equipment• Working knowledge of real time operating systems (such as VxWorks)COVID-19 continues to significantly impact our employees, families and communities.
