The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to help shape the future of the E-7A Wedgetail. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading critical cybersecurity activities to underpin the platform. Due to the nature of the project the role is based in Williamtown, Newcastle.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful and timely delivery of all project requirements by working with the program leadership team, capability, and customer stakeholders

  • Lead Project battle rhythms, reporting and integration across the E-7A Wedgetail Enterprise

  • Lead Project improvement efforts, working with customer, capability and program stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate innovative and strategic thinking to ensure both the project and wider program deliver successful outcomes for the customer


Experience/Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in managing complex projects to successful and timely completion.

  • Experience leading or working within a program of works / Project Management Office will be highly regarded.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted industry project management standards.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in Cyber Security methodologies, systems and implementations

  • High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in a STEM, Cyber Security, Business or Management field is desirable.

  • Familiarity with engineering change processes.

  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence Security Requirements.
