Reporting directly to the Vice President of IT, this position will oversee all aspects of the Infrastructure & Operations portfolio to ensure a reliable 24x7 operations. In addition to daily operations, the role will have oversight for infrastructure, personnel, vendor/outsourcer management & governance, project management, IT Strategy, and capital and expense management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver high reliability IT services and capabilities within a 24x7 operation
Manage & govern 3rd party outsourcers performance and accountability
Develop long term infrastructure plans by meeting with business leaders to understand their priorities and business strategies Build and create a business impact analysis based on infrastructure stack and IoT network design implications
Ensure best practices are created for effective problem resolution for high availability and performance
Manage a hardened system process in an industrial environment
Oversee and control large account contracts such as Oracle, Microsoft and Hardware OEMs
Produce rigorous solution design artifacts and documentation
Utilize a variety of Infrastructure and Integrated system & application monitoring techniques
Enable continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure department while promoting Arcosa core values
Additional responsibilities as needed
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field; Masters Degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years progressive experience as a leader in Information Technology
Minimum of 7 years supervisory experience over IT operations with strong team and people development skills
Direct experience developing, running, and maintaining IT operating procedures; experience leading projects and teams through a 3rd party outsourcing partner
Demonstrated success in Merger and Acquisition process and execution
Solution design and architecture experience with the key components of IT infrastructures
Enterprise Management (Integration of systems, Platform Compute, Network Design & Segmentation, Database Design and Support, etc.)
Data Storage solutions - NAS, SAN, Cloud
Network Segmentation Design Implications (Using Information Security Environment and Active Directory Design)
High performance H/A, backup & recovery solutions
Distributed Voice Services over PRI gateways with a focus on SIP Modernization
Cloud service migration strategy (IaaS, PaaS), with a focus on interoperability with on premise systems
Privileged access management
Disaster recovery solution design including implications of RPO and RTO parameter
Application development lifecycle and EUC Collaboration technologies, focusing on Microsoft strategies
Experience with server computer operations across multiple operating systems (Unix flavors, Linux, Windows, AS400 & IBM Power Series)
Deep understanding of Oracle/SQL
Proven participant in cross functional solution design and development
Conversant in enterprise security capabilities including device and perimeter level measures including active third-party services
Understanding of requirements and methods of system level SOX, PCI, ICFR and operational controls
Expertise with current ITIL processes, procedures and tools, and associated performance measurement.
Extensive understanding of the design and use of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its integration with ITIL processes such as change, request, incident, config and problem mgmt.
Demonstrated expertise in the development and execution of strategic technology roadmaps
High level of initiative and self-motivation
Ability to travel (domestic US and Mexico)
