MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining strong relationships with business leaders acrossPost Holdings andITDivisionsis key, as it is critical forPHIIT to partner with other departments to understand business requirements and deliver solutions. This individual will also partner with IT leaders across Post Holdings and its operating companies to collaborate on and deliver solutions that benefit and safeguard the entire enterprise.Oversees and directs the daily operations of IT network, operations, workforce productivity, and core/cloud infrastructure services for PHI.Manages goals and performance levels of staff and service providers that partner with Post Holdings for infrastructure and network-related IT services.
Collaborates with IT leaders across Post Holdings, and other operating divisions to develop and implement infrastructuretechnologystrategies for both enterprise-wide and company-specific programs that will add value to and protect the organization.
Infrastructure Strategy- Maintains an understanding of industry and technology trends and how they may impact business operations
IT Architecture- Develops or approves IT cloud, security, and other applicable architectures along with supporting functional and technical documentation.
Innovation- Researches new technology and develops business cases to support company and enterprise-wide initiatives.
Mergers &Acquisitions- Responsible for developing and implementing non-disruptive integration plans and increasing acquisition readiness.
Service Level Management- Creates and manages review processes, partnering with business colleagues to establish appropriate service level objectives, and deliver projects and continuous improvement initiatives across all infrastructure-related solutions and services.
Maintains a continuous improvement approach with staff and managed service providers to optimize system performance and proactively avoid issues.
Solves complex business delivery problems.
Program & Project Management - Ensures conformance and compliance of projects with established architecture guidelines
Prepares program and project requests, priorities and plans for assigned areas of
Establishes effective resourcing models, leveraging internal and external resources to efficiently and effectively deliver projects, changes, and operational support.
Initiates approved programs and projects based on set PMO procedures and guidelines.
Ensures that IT projects are delivered on time, under budget, and with quality.
Proactively identifies processes that would benefit from system automation to increase operating efficiencies then deliver a design for the solution.
Technology Supplier Management- Influences internal and external partners to support PHI's technology vision and operating needs
Partners with legal and contract service teams and is proficient at contract negotiation
Execution- Partners with facilities team on significant office moves and other facility changes balancing workforce productivity and costs
Leadership- Able to attract, develop, lead and retain high caliber IT talent that accomplishes superior results
Manages, mentors, and develops team members. Fosters a customer-service and business-focused culture and team.
Prepares goals and work plans for teams.
Carries supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Financial Management- Manages department level budgets in line with internal peer cost benchmarks. Accountable for P&L and Capital project spend under the areas of accountability listed above.
Risk Management- Effective and efficient assessment, planning, and mitigation ofPost Holdingsinfrastructure related risks, including
DisasterRecovery - Ensures appropriate Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capabilities are in place
Cyber Security - Ensures appropriateprotectioncontrols are in place toprotect against, detect, respond to and recover fromcyber-attacks.Partner with Security to establish and implement security plans to prevent material loss from cyber security incidents
Change Control - Oversees that appropriate changes from production or test regions are planned into the PHI system environments.
Technology Supplier Management- Manages the technical accuracy and solution issues from third-party partners who provide SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS systems that exist in our cloud infrastructure ecosystem.
Strategy & Alignment-Participates in IT strategy and planning activities, bringing current knowledge and future vision of infrastructure technology, systems and best practices as related to business requirements
Provides thought leadership in IT strategy, operations, cost-optimization, innovation, and efficiency improvement
Assesses the impact of IT industry trends to current and future enterprise infrastructure needs and projects
Continuous Improvement- Works with colleagues and staff to improve infrastructure costs, data center efficiency, performance, and workforce productivity and end-user satisfaction
Communication- Able to present solutions and findings toall levels of the organization includingC-level executives to obtain buy-in and approval.
Self-Managed- Operates independently but in alignment with company and enterprise vision and objectives
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Security or an Equivalent Major. Masters Degree Preferred.
7+ years working in a M&A focused organization
10+ years of progressive implementation/support of enterprise environments with over 5,000 users
10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with minimum of 5 years at asenior level.
15+ years of Infrastructure andVirtualizationExperience
5+ years experience with Cloud Strategy including contracting, architecting and deploying solutions.
3+ years direct information security experience preferred
5+ years of experience in Risk Management areas of Disaster recovery, IT General Controls, and SOX Audit requirements, and document retention programs
Detailed understanding of infrastructure design practices, infrastructure operations and standards, and security standards and frameworks.
