KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Industry Marketing - Technology, Media and/or Telecommunication to join our Marketing organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop the Go to Market (GTM) strategy and overarching story to position the Technology, Media and Telecom verticals as well as manage the coordination and execution of an integrated cross-functional marketing plan to establish brand, support relationship development, and growth with targeted audiences and sales channels
Progress and execute the sector's thought leadership strategy, ensuring adherence with thought leadership quality standards and protocols, and extend across an omni-channel approach (digital, social media, video, podcast, webinar, blogs, association affiliation, and tradeshow sponsorships)
Partner with Communications, Media Relations, and Industry analyst community to augment brand reach
Perform market research to inform strategic POV (Point of View) documents as critical changes take place in the industry vertical
Diagnose client and prospect needs, translate into questions and use cases, and architect the story and positioning to solve critical client marketing opportunities
Identify events or venues that attract targeted buyers and influencers to increase brand awareness or change brand image and potentially drive sales and/or create positive publicity that drives new opportunities
Qualifications:
Minimum of ten years of marketing or business experience; professional services or similar corporate environment is preferred
Bachelors' degree from an accredited college/university; MBA is preferred
Project management, budget management and internal client service knowledge is preferred
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Technology, Media and/or Telecommunication experience is a plus
