WANTED An experienced Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Top Secret Clearance with demonstrated experience in cyber security (CS) and enterprise level security managementsupport of the security infrastructure for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. As a Cyber Security SME you will Assist System Security Engineering (SSE) Managers with navigating DoD and DoN CS processes to include Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253 and Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementations upon request Provide dedicated Assessment and Authorization (AA) support services as defined in the DoDDoN Risk Management Framework (RMF) Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals. A week in the life of a Cyber Security SME Conduct in-depth technical reviews of Assessment and Authorization (AA) documentation from system integratorsdevelopers supporting the PO to achieve successful Authorizing Official (AO) decisions in support of Authority to Operate (ATO) milestones IAW JSIG and NIST SP 800-137 Continuous Monitoring Requirements Conduct Program Office (PO) security control assessments of System Integratordeveloper submitted AA documentation to ensure compliance with RMF requirements Generate and submit PO AA documentation required for submission of PO DoN Security Authorization (SA) packages Createreview the System Security Plans (SSP), Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM), OPSEC Plans, Cybersecurity Test PlanReports, IA Vulnerability Management Plans, and Risk Management Plans to ensure documentationartifacts are in compliance with RMF requirements Ensure that all PO cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals maintain the AA package repository Implementmonitor PO continuous monitoring Plansstrategies to ensure compliance with DoN Cybersecurity policy. Ensure site compliance with cybersecurity inspections, assessments and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and stakeholders as appropriate, and reviewarchive the documented results in support of Program level continuous monitoring Plans Prepare and update of the IACS components of various milestone decision support documents such as but not limited to the Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), Test and Evaluation Management Plans (TEMP) and Test and Evaluation Strategies (TES), and Integrated Logistic Support Plans (ILSP) Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) Technical Interchange Meeting (TIMs) to ensure compliance with DoN Cybersecurity polices, address any vulnerabilities identified, and conduct risk assessments. Provide a knowledge bridge between System developers, Fleet operators, and Acquisition specialist to address SSE specifics issues affecting capabilities Conduct technical assessment of Contract Data Deliverables for cyber security impact. Review systems scans results in conjunction with audit logs to assess the system security posture. AWARDED BEST OF THE BEST by U.S. Veterans Magazine and TOP 10 MILITARY FRIENDLY COMPANY by MilitaryFriendly.comJOB REQUIREMENTS Required Skills Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Information Systems, or related fields CSIA experience 5- 7 + years IAM or IAT DoD 8570.01 (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program)DoDD 8140 Cyberspace Workforce 8410 level III certified Experience with RMF andor National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Must be proactive Possess excellent attention to detail skills Strong analytical skills Proficient in MS Office products Desired skills Experience as an ISSM or performing the role of an ISSM in an RMF environment Experience supporting ACAT programs Working knowledge of software programming languages (Python, C+, Power Shell) Clearance Must have current Top Secret Clearance. Will accept technical certification credit for military experience, where possible
