We are currently accepting resumes for a Cyber Security Professional in Columbus, OH.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

- Provide customer service and outreach by responding to emails and phone calls from a collection of county IT and board of elections IT technical support and stakeholders regarding alert notifications and any cyber incidents they may be experiencing

- Collaborate with internal IT engineering teams and external technical and non-technical partners to ensure maximum awareness of any and all cyber trends that could impact county entities

- Assist support team with troubleshooting challenging issues

- Assist the boards in implementing the cybersecurity controls required by the Department.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, or related field

- Must pass a criminal background check and be able to obtain a national security clearance upon request

- Ability to research, contribute, validate, and share threat data under stressful circumstances

- Familiarity with threat intel and the ability to monitor and analyze network traffic across internal organization and external sector sensors searching for malicious activity

- Familiarity with performing security assessments to assist the Department office in ensuring that security compliance is being achieved

- Support boards of elections to ensure that critical patches and security controls are applied in a timely manner

- Within 1 hour respond to communication from board, Dept office and appropriate third parties regarding any major incident as defined by the managing group.

- Within 4 hours, when deemed appropriate by the head Department, the liaison must be onsite at the impacted county for any major incident

- Have the requisite expertise and availability to immediately assist in county-level incident response should the need arise
