Cyber Security Engineer - The Role:

We are continuing to grow during this unprecedented time and are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our highly skilled technical team and help deliver security solutions to our customers. You will be the go-to person for the projects you are allocated, meaning you must provide support to colleagues when needed. This is a challenging and demanding role, and is likely to suit a self-motivated individual. This role will require travel to customer sites, when necessary.

You will be working with Palo Alto Networks technologies (amongst others) and we will offer you the required training and a path to achieve Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSE, PCNSC…) and other recognition programmes such as CYBERFORCE. We are also a Palo Alto Networks Diamond Partner and was Technical Partner of the Year for 2018/2019.

Cyber Security Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

Successful delivery of assigned installs on time and on budget

Resource planning to enable successful project delivery

Engineer document control, with an ability to provide a valuable input to project procedures and processes

Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments on a regular basis to execute assigned engineering works

Providing added value to existing customer relationships

Working closely with Account Managers and Project Managers to ensure the correct number of professional service days are allocated to projects

Following KHIPU reporting, escalation and change management control procedures

Ensuring an ongoing quality of service, delivery and adherence to agreed SLAs

Cyber Security Engineer - You:

3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role is essential

Experience in networking and cybersecurity concepts and associated technologies.

Experience and knowledge of KHIPU product portfolio, or similar, would be desirable, in particular PAN portfolio

Industry certifications are looked upon favourably and Palo Alto certification would certainly be a bonus!

Keen to learn and adopt new technologies

The ability to provide effective and productive stakeholder management

Extremely organised, sub-team management and leadership skills

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects with effective prioritisation techniques

A flexible approach to delivering against tight deadlines in a challenging environment

Able to drive and with a full UK driving licence, to travel to our customer locations within the UK as necessary

Our UK Office is based in Ancells Business Park, within 20 minutes' walk of Fleet mainline station with direct links into London. Ample free parking is also available on site. The job will involve travel throughout the UK, and sometimes worldwide.
