Join our team and thrive in a career that matters to the world and you personally.The Cyber Operations and Resilience Department (CORD) provides technical support in researching and engineering cyber solutions for Aerospace internal and external customers in all segments of national security space systems. Support is provided across multiple functional areas to include ground network and space-based systems for multiple mission partners to include US Space Force, US Space Command, SMC Directorates, operational Space Wings and Civil Agencies. Be part of the solution.HERE IS WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO:Support test, study and improve mission resiliency for Space Mission Systems against advanced cyber threatsDevelop and test Defensive Cyber Operations tools and capabilitiesApply standard techniques and procedures to carry out a series of prescribed scientific and/or cyber security tasksParticipate in risk management activities to ensure cybersecurity risks are evaluated and mitigations applied in accordance with security directivesProactively support program management of multiple projects and facilitate in-depth working groups to identify credible threats, relevant vulnerabilities, and assess operational impactsAssist in development of mitigating courses of action and creation of comprehensive strategies to include system design modificationsClosely collaborate with Aerospace, Government, other Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs), contractors, and mission partner representativesThis position is available as Senior Member of the Technical Staff or an Engineering SpecialistWhat you need to be successful:Required for Senior Member of the Technical StaffBachelor of Science or technical degree from an accredited UniversityAbility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance issued by the US government. US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.Five or more years of cyber security/cyber operations experiencePossess strong written and oral communication skillsMust be energetic and self-motivatedMust work well in a distributed team environmentMust possess strong organizational, time management and project management skillsDemonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needDemonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company's values of Dedication to Mission Success, Technical Excellence, Commitment to Our People, Integrity and ObjectivityRequired for Engineering SpecialistBachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical area of studyAbility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance issued by the US government.
