RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Cyber Security Architect/Engineer in Raleigh, NC. Key Tasks: Develops a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life for a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) product Facilitates the research, design, development, testing, and implementation of the product Work is performed without appreciable direction; Exercises considerable initiative in driving product strategy and resolving questions and issues Spearheads stakeholder engagement and interacts with senior leadership Facilitates solutioning to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity Be the product strategist: Cultivate understanding of SOAR understand general use cases Become Subject Matter Expert in ThreatConnect's SOAR capabilities Craft a vision for developing and maturing SOAR at USPS to communicate project value to clients and anchor the product team to specific goals Define product roadmap with input from stakeholders Scope and prioritize the backlog in coordination with the product team, breaking work into manageable scope Accept work at the end of each sprint for the team to complete Foster collaboration with stakeholders and the product team, and be the face and primary advocate for the product team when interacting with other workstreams or leadership Manage product metrics to relay team progress and project value Identify and spearhead mitigating structural/underlying risks to product success Participate in all sprint ceremonies - backlog prioritization, sprint planning, sprint retro, daily stand up, and sprint review Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:You have 5+ years total with the following: Understanding of cybersecurity Incident Response, Threat Detection, and Threat Intelligence Processes Familiarity with cybersecurity tools incident response and their capabilities Knowledge/experience of agile practices Ability to influence cross-functional teams to work in harmony and achieve a common goal Possession of excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Desired Qualifications: Cyber-automation/SOAR experience Product Owner experience: Experience with developing or managing products; Or extensive experience working on a product team and interest in product management Experience developing business use-cases, product roadmaps, timelines, and milestone reviews Ability to develop product strategies and communicate recommendations to executive management effectively Additional Provisions: Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years; Military Service excluded (Exception does not include military family members) All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
