RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client that is seeking a Medical Device Chief RF Design Engineer Leader in Phoenix, AZ. This company offers an excellent compensation package including aggressive annual bonus plan, generous PTO, Stock, etc. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. Essential Duties Plans and directs all aspects of engineering activities (including product innovation and development) and projects within the organization in support of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy projects Ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives, including development of work scope, budget and schedule Applies a high level of technical expertise and ingenuity to identify potential engineering solutions Incorporates components, materials, and tools that result in cost-effective and quality output Manages overall engineering budget and costs Directs and assists team members, both Company employees and outside contractors, in the completion of their work Coordinates input from, and participation with, various departments within the Company as needed to meet project objectives Oversee the daily operation of the Engineering department, assuring departmental goals are achieved Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the workload for engineering staff Assign work activities, projectstasks, review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems Develops short- and long-range organizational plans and goals, assigns work to subordinates, determining work schedules and priorities to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget Plans for the acquisition of all necessary resources to support the department Manages design engineering costs to ensure alignment with project budgets Prepares input for budget Fosters new ideas and inventions Mentor other engineers REQUIREMENTS BS degree in Electrical Engineering Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or MBA (preferred) Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience Experience in Antenna design and analysis in HFVHF range is a plus Experienced with RF test equipment such as signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes Familiarity, educational experience, or on the job experience At least 3 years of administrative and supervisory experience RF circuit theory, application, testing and prototyping RF power amplifier design (Class C, D, E, F) MatchingTuning circuit design for RF power amplifiers and antennas RF design integration experience, including in-lab debug experience Reading and understanding schematic diagrams Analog circuit design simulator software (PSPICE, LTSPICE) RF simulation software tools (NIAWR, ANSYS HFSS, or similar) Investigating EMIEMC issues, identify solutions, and report findings effectively Experience in developing RF transmit chain Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to build strong teams and lead people to overcome challenges and achieve aggressive goals Knowledge of project management practices, procedures, and requirements, and ability to support same Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
