The Cyber Security Defense (CSD) - Information Defense function within Global Information Security is responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence and monitoring, application and network security, and insider threat, specific to Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Access Management

The Business Support Manager role will support a specific group within Global Information Security (GIS) and will be responsible for managing diverse business activities. You should possess excellent organization, leadership and communication skills. This position requires strong relationship management skills to interact with senior leadership, managers and staff throughout the organization to deliver against organizational priorities. Responsibilities may include: leadership and management of key routines, development of strategic and tactical plans, coordination of business activities across GIS, execution of LOB deliverables and risk management.

As the Business Support Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
  • This role will require an understanding of project and program portfolios
  • Providing metrics reporting for cross team functions and reporting for different sponsors
  • Resource Management: Resource availability and utilization tracking and reporting; departmental recognition awards; leavers & joiners, hiring process; promotions, talent & skill-set management; location strategy and office space management. The individual will be helping with close management of these functions
  • Vendor Management: Statements of Work, Licenses, Vendor engagement and ensuring that the contracts are the best solution for the team
  • Close coordination with the Global Markets Operations Technology Project Managers, Business Management and Project Management Office functions locally & globally, as well as with LOB business management and central PMO organization contacts
  • Accountability to prepare and understand complex project summaries, with an ability to highlight potential areas of concern, risk or change to senior managers in multiple locations
  • Management Reporting: Reporting and communications to key stakeholders in Technology and Business
  • Project Framework: Ensuring that artefacts, processes and best practices within the organization's program and project methodologies are followed & maintained
  • Facilitating Town Hall and other senior management meetings including preparing materials and taking meeting minutes/action items


As the Business Support Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
  • Project Management experience
  • Prior experience in business management role with working knowledge of core business processes within Bank of America
  • Self starter with ability to work to short deadlines across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organized manner, whilst ensuring quality & timeliness of the delivered results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management with the ability to build and establish relationships
  • High level influencing skills and ease in working with Senior Management
  • Strong knowledge of Standard Office Software Applications, Specifically PowerPoint & Excel
