The client is a major global 22000 people consulting business. They operate in all major sectors including financial services, Telcos, Utilities, Publishing and Media, Retail, Leisure and Automotive. Clients include Fox, Channel 4, Chelsea Football Club, EDF Energy, Lloyds Banking Group and Telegraph Media Group. The broad range of solutions and services includes consumer data and insight, analytics, managed services, digital marketing, and consultancy.

The Sales Account Director will be responsible for managing and acquiring clients within a portfolio of major accounts. The person should preferably come from a technology consultancy, service provider or resourcing company. Most of the existing clients are UK based.

Job Specifications

Direct responsibilities:

? Developing relationships with high-profile enterprise clients to extend and expand the range of professional services delivered to them.

? Identifying potential clients and establishing contact with them proactively through a variety of channels, including exhibitions, social networking and enterprise technology forums.

? Consultative selling approach, closing sales and growing new relationships with key clients.

? Ability to represent my client's services confidently and establish credibility as a subject matter expert in technology professional services.

? Ensuring that existing and prospective clients’ needs are understood accurately and that these are communicated consistently to internal stakeholders.

? Ensuring that the proposals to prospective clients are created and communicated to a high standard.

? Negotiating agreement and closing sales opportunities successfully.

? Participation in the implementation of my client’s professional services at a supervisory/stakeholder level to monitor successful on-time / to-budget delivery.

? Participation in reviewing the quality of the service delivered to the clients in order to maintain high standards of delivery, retain client engagement and garner referrals and endorsements for my client's capabilities.

Job Qualifications

? Experience in making technology sales nationally to major enterprises in the financial services, utilities, media, telecommunications or government sectors.

? Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

? Able to represent the propositions confidently and establish credibility as a subject matter expert in technology professional services.

? Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, self-directed and empowered environment.

? Able to succeed in addressing clients across the UK, including travel to visit existing and prospective clients.

? Able to communicate customised solutions to complex technical issues in relation to the achievement of technology goals, with highly effective verbal and written presentation skills.
