Duration: - 5 Months Contract

Job Description:

• Seeking an experienced Big Data Developer to work primarily on custom development, modeling and reporting in the an AWS Data Lake environment. Initial assignments will be to build and enhance functionality based on specification. Other responsibilities will depend on experience. The ideal candidate would be able to do an end-to-end implementation (analysis, design, build, test) with little assistance.
  Qualifications:
  • AWS development experience 3+ years
  • Experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, Lambda, Spark, EMR and Redshift
  • Experience with languages such as Scala, Java and C#
  • Strong understanding of RDBMS systems, SQL querying techniques and data modeling principles
  
  Position is remote. Candidate may be required to report on-site periodically.
