AWS IoT Partner Leader Associate Director or Director Level Cognizant IoT Chicago, IL or remote (with client-specific travel) BACKGROUND
Cognizant is hiring for an IoT partner manager focused on joint initiatives with AWS IoT. We believe that by dedicated focus on integrating partner technology and execution expertise with our IoT service offerings, we will strengthen our ability to solve for our client's business outcomes. Further, we intend to expand our leadership position in IoT and Digital Transformation through our alliances relationships. In doing so we expect to accelerate Cognizant's revenue generating abilility across multipe market verticals and with a number of solution offerings in conjunction with our AWS IoT partnership.
This role requires relevant experience in IoT sales/business development, the ability to develop and communicate solid strategic business approaches, and a strong ability to develop and maintain executive level business relationships. The goal is to position Cognizant as an industry leader in enterprise IoT solutions and to accelerate growth by delivering on joint value propositions with our partners that solve our customer's needs and increase their digital maturity. POSITION OVERVIEW
As a key member of the IoT alliances team you will be responsible for working with AWS IoT leaders to influence and enable Cognizant IoT practice revenue.
You will be the primary person responsible for developing and managing the AWS IoT business relationship, and for understanding and positioning the partner's products to enhance and support the Cognizant IoT Practice offerings. You will act as a leading advocate for solution definition and integration, and will be responsible for sales enablement with those partners.
You will engage the partner proactively to drive a business collaboration strategy and develop the action plans necessary to close business. Through engagement with the Cognizant sales, offerings, technical and alliance teams, you will translate the partnership plans into practice deliverables that can drive tangible business results.
You will work to position Cognizant as a thought leader in enterprise IoT and digital transformation, and will orchestrate the incorporation of the AWS IoT value propositions within Cognizant IoT offerings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Lead all AWS IoT partner development opportunities under the direction of the Head of Strategic Alliances, IoT
? Build and maintain influential business relationships in the partner organization, including with partner alliances, sales, marketing, business development and senior leadership
? Influence practice revenue growth through partner product/service integration, joint GTM initiatives, joint promotion initiatives, sales enablement, and client engagements
? Develop Cognizant thought leadership in enterprise IoT and digital transformation
? Lead the creation of sales collateral to educate Cognizant and Partner sales resources on ways to position and sell solutions incorporating partner ingredient components
? Orchestrate appropriate technology capabilities training for Cognizant associates on partner products through Cognizant Academy resources
? Understand the partners solution technology to effectively position why their solutions enhance and augment Cognizant service offerings so that Cognizant wins more business with the partner
? Assist IoT Service Line Sales (SLS) and Client Sales Executives (CSE) in creating a compelling telco partner sales strategy for Cognizant solutions in their respective verticals
? Operate under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment - provided by Dice
