This role will be responsible for a mix of project implementation and resolving complex Tier 2/3 technical escalations within customer environments. Individuals in this position will executes guided project implementations within their areas of technical expertise while providing escalation support in broader technical areas. Typical responsibilities for this engineer may include deployment, administration and troubleshooting of Office 365 / Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server, network switches, routers, firewalls and storage technologies.- Responsible for remote administration, design and implement of troubleshooting issues, and update/deploy Microsoft solutions including Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365 / Microsoft 365, and other cloud and on-prem infrastructure- Triage and resolve escalations from within the Managed Services team within defined customer SLAs- Be a problem solver - Identify solutions for hardware, software and network issues- Leverage remote support tools to resolve support requests- Communicate with clients and project leads in a highly professional and timely manner- Provide occasional on-call 24/7 support after business hours 1 week per month- Occasional on-site client support and project work- Other duties as required Qualifications Education- High School diploma or GED, required- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, preferredExperience- Three (3) or more years of experience troubleshooting and providing support within the Microsoft suite of products and web/networked computing environments (Windows Server and Desktop, Office 365 or Microsoft 365, Active Directory, etc.), required- Ability to implement, update and manage technical Tier 2 and 3 escalation issues and identify solutions in fast-paced environment, requiredOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Intermediate knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and operations- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, positive attitude and desire to learn- Prior experience with ticketing systems and service desk management tools (i.e. Remedy, ServiceNow, ConnectWise, Autotask, N-central, Kaseya, etc.)- Must be open to local travel to client sites- Experience working in a consulting environment- CCNA, MCSE, MCITP certificationKeywords: Infrastructure, Troubleshooting, Support, NOC, Experienced Associate Engineer, Network Operations, Engineer, Tier 2, Tier Two, Level two, Active Directory, AD, Exchange, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Office, Remote Support, Escalation, Network, Systems Administration, Systems Admin, Microsoft 365, Office 365, O365, M365
