S3 Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security/Information Assurance Analyst to support our projects on Redstone Arsenal, AL. Position Description: The Cyber Security/Information Assurance Analyst will participate in the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) involving the identification, assessment and authorization (formerly certification and accreditation), evaluation and analysis, and reporting of the compliance and residual risk of DoD and PM Apache information systems (tactical and non-mission) to governing security regulations. The position requires an understanding of the Cyber Security and Information Assurance (IA) requirements as described in the DOD 5205.13 and DOD 8510.01 and the process by which these requirements are created. The position requires evaluating Statements of Work to ensure the proper Cyber Security/IA requirements are properly included in those SOWs and an ability to discuss those requirements. Candidates should have experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and implementation of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). The successful applicant must demonstrated the ability to analyze and formulate plans, directions, and solutions for large-scale information and system problems. General experience required to be shown includes increasing responsibilities in assignments of a technical nature; a proven ability to work independently on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis is required; the ability to analyze and study complex system requirements. Additionally, the successful applicant must show a track record of designing solutions & managing their implementation, managing systems development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques. The position provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing systems and/or software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards and for progress in accord with schedules. This position also coordinates with Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem solution & user satisfaction and makes recommendations, if needed, for approval of major system installations. It also prepares milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates & end user representatives while providing daily supervision and direction to support staff. Experience/Skills Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS); minimum of 5 years of experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) software; minimum of 2 years of experience working with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs); minimum of 5 years of experience conducting cyber security vulnerability assessments and penetration testing; minimum of 3 years of experience working with in Army Acquisition (PEO/Program Office) in Army Labs conducting IA tasks; and, minimum of 5 years of experience working with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) involving the identification, assessment and authorization Education Required: Bachelor's (Master's Preferred) in Physical sciences, computer science, mathematics, operations research, management, business, or related technical/mgmt field and ten (10) years' experience. Security Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance. Certifications/Licenses: Security+ CE certification. Other: Familiarity with the Apache aircraft desired; experience in cyber security vulnerability assessment and penetration testing is preferred. Must be willing to travel.
